Fall Club Fair
PRSSA was in attendance at the Fall Club Fair on September 28th. We had 23 people
stop by our table and sign up for more information about PRSSA. Thanks to
everyone who said hello or helped out at the table.
DDH Board
We finished construction of our Chapter board in DDH. While the major work has
been completed, the board will be updated throughout the academic year.
Should anyone walk by and notice our board in need of repair (no membership forms, pictures ripped, unauthorized fliers from other clubs, etc.), please contact an officer as soon as possible so we can fix the problem.
Professional Development Session
At the last Chapter meeting, our Professional Advisor Amber Chiang talked about her
public relations journey leading up to her current position as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Bakersfield College.
I would like to thank Amber for speaking at our first professional development session. I look forward to welcoming more great speakers at future Chapter sessions.
Membership Dues
The last day to renew or become an official PRSSA member is October 22. Please do not delay.
Open Executive Board Position
The Executive Board is still looking for candidates to fill the position of Secretary. Any members interested in this great leadership opportunity should get in contact with me or Donna as soon as possible.
Bringing Friends to Meetings
If you have a brought a friend to a past meeting and they signed the attendance sheet, please let me know so you are awarded points for their participation.
Next Meeting
The next Chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12 at 3:00 p.m.
The main topic of discussion will be the committees.
Committee Chairs who will not be available to attend the meeting should designate a fellow committee member to speak for the group.
